Our
Community Work

Body Heart and Mind CIC delivers community-based

health, rehabilitation and education programmes

designed to support individuals in improving

their physical and mental wellbeing.

Our work goes beyond exercise.

We focus on

prevention, awareness and empowerment,

helping people understand their bodies,

manage health conditions and take control

of their long-term wellbeing.

WHY OUR WORK MATTER

Across the UK, increasing numbers of adults are living with:

cardiovascular conditions

hypertension

diabetes

reduced mobility

Many lack access not only to safe exercise, but also

to clear, practical education

about how to manage and improve their health.

This leads to: preventable health decline

hospitalisation, isolation, reduced quality of life

WHAT WE DO

We deliver a combination of:

Community Programmes

Exercise and rehabilitation sessions

Group classes and one-to-one support

Workshops on cardiovascular health, diabetes and hypertension

Practical guidance on lifestyle, movement and wellbeing

Panels & Public Speaking

Educational talks and lectures

Collaboration with local organisations and health services

Community Engagement

Prevention-focused events

Partnerships with councils, PCNs and community groups

Upcoming Community Classes & Events

Body Heart and Mind CIC is currently developing new community wellbeing, rehabilitation and movement programmes across North West  London for older adults and people living with long-term health conditions.

We are working with local community organisations, healthcare professionals and funding partners to expand access to supportive classes, wellbeing events and rehabilitation programmes in areas where they are most needed.
